A heat press is basically a machine containing an electronically heated metal surface, called a platen. A heat press functions similarly to an iron you would use to press clothing. To use a heat press you must first lay down the graphics or letters you plan on printing, then simple lower the platen down onto the surface to be imprinted and lock it down for a short amount of time. After the predetermined amount of time, you simply raise the platen and the surface of your choosing will have a permanent print on it.
4 Color Process (also known as CMYK) printing was developed to reproduce full-color artwork accurately when printed on white paper. Essentially, a decent sized spectrum of visible color can be represented by printing various densities of the primary colors Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. Indeed, this typically works great on paper and on-screen, but getting the image onto fabric can be an entirely different beast. Our limitations with this process are mostly due to substrate thickness, flexibility and color.
Generally speaking, orders are completed within 2 weeks, but if you need something in a hurry, just give us a call. We would love to talk to you and accommodate you to the best of our ability. We have a hard time saying no.
Embroidery is the method used for decorating fabrics with a needle and a thread. This decorative stitching technique, with its varied stitches, is worked independently from the fabric's weave allowing you to embroider any design, realistic or abstract, onto any fabric you choose. Surface Embroidery offers you the greatest versatility to create beautiful designs using our colorful threads and specialty fibers.
